For this month’s StyleXStyle post, we decided to show you how we’re styling maxi dresses for spring. Last summer, I wore maxi dresses during the day for an easy and comfy daytime look. They are so simple to throw on and pair with sandals, whether you’re running errands or on vacation. You don’t usually think of a maxi dress as something you might wear on a date night, but this Spring, lace/mesh/embroidered/see-through maxis are all the rage and oh so cute for a date night look!
I was originally on the fence about this Wayf dress, but ultimately fell in love and am so glad I kept it! Even Zach really likes it, which is a win since he normally doesn’t comment on what I’m wearing hah! The see-through material gives such a cool effect when you’re walking and the colors are extra gorgeous when they catch the sunlight. The nude color underneath makes it look like the embroidered florals are simply falling all around you and I got a million compliments from strangers while I was wearing this!
Since the dress is so busy with all the lace detail, I wanted to keep the shoes very neutral. I paired some of my favorite nude lace-up heels with it since they blend into my skin tone perfectly.
Do you have any good weekend plans? Zach and his family get in today since his cousin is getting married TOMORROW!! We have the rehearsal dinner tonight and then we might squeeze in a little Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow morning should wedding plans allow for it 🙂
