I LOVE THIS DRESS. First off, it’s gingham print, which we all know has been huge this summer. But it’s also RAINBOW COLORED. Rainbow stripes have also been really popular lately. And JCrew combined the two (PLUS A BOW. I DIE) into one beautiful rainbow gingham dress that I wish I could wear all the time. Yes, even to bed. Because, yes, it’s that comfy! And who wouldn’t want to
taste wear the rainbow to bed? ALSO, WHO DOESN’T WANT 50% OFF?! Use code: SHOPSUMMER at checkout and this dress is $40. Yep – and I bought it full price. Devastated. I’m wearing a ‘Petite 00’ for size reference.
I wore this to work a few weeks ago and got compliments on it all day. I love that it’s really different from everything else in my work wardrobe, and the colors are so bright and cheery that I stuck out like a sore thumb in my dark and dreary office. Fun fact: we have no windows in our office so we never know what’s happening outside #molepeople Not to mention, this dress is super versatile and thanks to the rainbow, every single shoe color goes with the dress! Well, maybe not black. Or grey…but the fun colors on the spectrum do!
The blue in the dress perfectly matched my fun, bright blue Valentino Rockstud heels so obviously, I had to pair them with it. My old, reliable Valentinos. I’ll never be without them! I’ve talked about (and worn) them a million times, but if you are considering splurging on a luxury heel, these are the ones you should get. SO COMFORTABLE and classicly trendy (I might have just made that up).
Thank goodness it’s mid-week because that means I’m a few days closer to seeing Zach and his family! I’m driving up Friday and it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve last seen him…and it’s been even longer since I’ve seen baby Jordan. Come on week…end already!
I’m not saying I’m channeling my inner propeller, but I’m not, not saying it:
