PALM LEAF ROMPER OUTFIT DETAILS
PALM LEAF ROMPER: H&M | SHOES: Sole Society, old (similar – Here) | BAG: Louis Vuitton (similar more affordable option: Here) | JEWELRY: David Yurman, Hermes, Michael Kors
While my bestie was visiting over July 4th weekend, my boyfriend and I dragged her to brunch with a bunch of couples at Jackson 20 in Alexandria, Va. While brunch and the bloody marys were indeed delicious, the highlight of the afternoon was the shopping in Old Town we got to do afterwards! While the boys went for beer, the girls walked around King Street and did a little bit of damage. I rarely go into Old Town and we couldn’t stop commenting on how quaint the area really is. Between the restaurants, coffee shops, and cute boutiques, I can definitely understand the allure.
With that being said, we ended up in H&M. Not exactly a cutesy boutique unique to the area – but it’s a tried and true. I found this palm leaf romper – because my goal is to have enough rompers t
o suffocate myself with to live every day like it’s my last romp day. #YORO #YouOnlyRompOnce #justkiddingyoucanrompallthetime
H&M has been killing it lately – I’ve purchased a plethora of cute rompers and jumpsuits over these last few months. Between the trending palm prints, neons, and florals they’ve been putting out, they may have surpassed Forever21 in my mind…at least for the time being.
We also managed to hit up Current Boutique – which if you aren’t familiar with the name, it mixes “modern consignment with new clothing and accessories” and is located in the greater DC area. (Constantly being pimped up on hawt 99.5) Never had I ever stepped a toe in there, so we decided to give it a go and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. There are some adorable clothes in the front section by brands you don’t really hear about all that often – and at reasonable price points! We both picked out the same dress which is a showstopper – I’ll feature it in a future post
As far as the shoes go, they are oldies but I’ve linked a similar style from the same website. You can go here if you’d like to check them out! Sole Society usually has good deals and sales going on and if you sign up you can get 20% off your first purchase.
One last recommendation if you ever happen to be on King Street in Alexandria – stop in Killer ESP. It’s an INSANELY amazing coffee shop. Get the salted caramel latte. And then in between your tears of joy you can thank me 😉
